2020 - time to say good-bye

We will finish the year with a fine, dry and mild day across the upper North Island with no rain expected tonight. Here were a few highs and lows of 2020 around the Gulf.

Daily average temp - 16.40c. 0.1c below the 2018/19 average

Highest wind gust – Auckland Harbour bridge 127 km/h

Largest felt quake - M 5.2, 130 km E of Whitianga 29 Aug.

Highest tide - 1.82m MSL height, Waitemata harbour

Highest tide peak average 1.69m. (1cm below the 2015 to 2019 average)
