Waterspout lands in the Gulf off the North Shore

A Tasman low delivered waves of thunderstorm cells into the upper North Island over the weekend with one cell's cloud rotating enough to spawn a waterspout. The spout began to drop near Campbells bay at 4:19pm.

Then continued to rotate, dropping into the sea water forming a waterspout.

The waterspout continues for a few km's to around Takapuna as seen on this video from multiple locations.
